My time as a Procurement graduate was a valuable learning experience. I gained hands-on exposure to public sector procurement processes, including tendering, contract management, and compliance with PFMA regulations. I worked closely with cross-functional teams, contributed to sourcing strategies, and supported transformation goals and professional development. The assistance I received helped build a strong foundation for my career in supply chain and procurement.
The opportunity I was given to be a Sasrian has become one of the biggest milestones in my life. The growth was exponential and the relationships I have built in the organisation, both professionally and personally – are ones I know I will cherish for a very long time. When I started to work at Sasria as a Claims Intern, I could have never imagined myself being a Risk Analyst in the same organisation at a short space of time I had been working here. It truly is a privilege to be working for an organisation that takes its employee’s growth and development to heart.
I joined Sasria in April 2024 as a Payroll and Benefits Graduate, this experience has solidified my passion for HR and has set a strong foundation for my future career. Over the course of my time here, I have grown both personally and professionally, gaining hands-on experience in critical HR functions such as payroll administration, recruitment support, onboarding, and benefits management. One of my proudest achievements is earning an Advanced Certificate in Microsoft Excel and a Certificate in Payroll and Tax Administration, which have significantly enhanced my technical skills and confidence.
