Mandela Day

We continued to give, and we did so beyond Mandela Day. Sasria staff had the privilege of contributing to a meaningful project at the Boitekanelo Day Care Centre, embodying the spirit of humanity that Nelson Mandela championed. Staff members spent the day renewing the centre’s playground facilities, giving them a fresh new look with a vibrant coat of paint.

In addition to the hands-on work, Sasria made a financial contribution towards the development of the centre, funding the installation of a new water supply structure. This new system ensures the centre has reliable access to clean water, an essential resource for both the children and staff. With the new water supply in place, the centre has established a small vegetable garden. This initiative not only provides fresh produce for the children but also teaches them the valuable lesson of growing their own food, an empowering skill that will benefit them for years to come.

As we embrace the joy of the festive season, it’s a time to reflect, spread kindness, and make a positive impact in communities around us. At Sasria, we believe that this time of year offers the perfect opportunity to come together and make a difference for those in need. Through our Santa Box initiative, we brought joy and comfort to individuals and families who may be facing challenges this holiday season. Our staff contributed by filling boxes with essential items, treats, and gifts to brighten the festive season at Ubuhle Bezwe Child Care Center (Remedial School) in the township of Tembisa, Gauteng.
